The Double Strap iteration of the Air Jordan 1 is a modified version of the 1985 original, with two leather velcro straps replacing the traditional laces. Otherwise, the high-top shoe stays true to AJ1 heritage, with a leather upper and the Jordan Brand ‘Wings’ emblem on the collar. The only other exception is the additional rubber panel above the midsole, which conceals the lower portion of the Swoosh and gives the design a contemporary finish.
