Nike Cortez 72 Shoe Dog Speedy Peregrine
Nike takes inspiration from co-founder Phil Knight's memoir with the Classic Cortez '72 QS from the eponymous 'Shoe Dog' pack. Unveiled in July 2019, this limited edition iteration nods to the sportswear brand's past with a Peregrine Falcon—a discarded logo and moniker—embroidered on the leather upper's lateral. A textured toe bumper and heel tab are drawn from the original Japanese import. Its striped EVA midsole and herringbone rubber outsole carry nostalgic appeal.
